Class presidents serve on the ward youth council (see 11.3.4.4). Class presidencies also have the following responsibilities: Lead the class's efforts to participate in God's work of salvation and exaltation (see chapter 1). Get to know and serve each young woman, including those who do not attend class meetings.The stake and elders quorum presidency counselors and assigned high councilor may attend. Under the direction of the stake presidency, assisted by the stake Melchizedek Priesthood committee and stake Relief Society presidency, training can take place in a group setting or by one-on-one mentoring. Training is held as often as needed. Lesson 2: Counseling Together. You may teach this lesson in its entirety or separate it into shorter segments. Adapt the lesson to your local circumstances and the needs, ages, and understanding of your quorum or class presidency.
